About
Hi. My name is Amani. I have my bachelors in nursing (BSN) from College of Mount Saint Vincent in New York. In addition, I have my first bachelor’s degree in health administration and management from Cal State East Bay Hayward. I have two years of experience working with the geriatric population in an assisted living facility. Currently, I have been working as an outpatient neurology nurse for the past 3 years.
Mission
I am committed to sharing the knowledge I have acquired during my nursing career with you. Nurse Amani’s blog aims to provide you with information on a wide range of nursing topics, such as what I do as a nurse, my nursing journey, how I prepared for the NCLEX, and other nursing education and health education-related topics. In my blogs, I’ll share and provide resources that have helped me get through nursing school. As a result, I hope that my blog will be useful to both aspiring nurses and the general public because it will cover a wide range of health education topics.
My Hobbies
As a spiritual person, I meditate every day. Meditation has become an important part of my life, and I am grateful to have discovered something that brings me joy and gives me a sense of purpose in life. I also enjoy volunteering and helping others. I am a first-aid volunteer at a spiritual center. When I have free time, I enjoy watching TV. I like going for walks. I enjoy travelling and visiting new places. I love listening to music.
